RTX 5070 Ti OC Installations- und Lösungsbericht

🔧 Schnellübersicht der Problemlösung

🚀 Falls du Probleme mit der RTX 5070 Ti OC hast, hier die schnellen Fixes:
✅ BIOS-Update durchführen (über MSI Center oder manuell von der MSI-Website).
✅ Alte GPU Treiber mit DDU entfernen und sauber neu installieren.
✅ PCIe-Generation im BIOS auf GEN 4 stellen (statt „Auto“).
✅ Netzteil mit mindestens 1050W verwenden (650W reichte nicht aus).
✅ Falls immer noch Abstürze nach der Treiberinstallation auftreten → BIOS erneut prüfen!

Erfahrungsbericht zur Installation der RTX 5070 Ti OC – Probleme, Lösungen und der Weg zur Stabilität

Einleitung

Der Einbau einer neuen Grafikkarte kann manchmal komplizierter sein als erwartet – besonders wenn es sich um eine brandneue GPU wie die RTX 5070 Ti OC handelt. In meinem Fall führte der Austausch meiner RTX 2070 gegen die neue 5070 Ti OC zu einem langen Troubleshooting-Prozess mit BIOS-Updates, Treiberproblemen, einem neuen Mainboard und sogar einem neuen Netzteil. In diesem Bericht dokumentiere ich meinen gesamten Prozess und die endgültige Lösung, die mein System stabil gemacht hat.

1. Erste Versuche auf dem alten System (MSI B450 Gaming Plus + 650W Netzteil) – Kein Erfolg

Mein ursprüngliches System bestand aus:

  • Mainboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus
  • Netzteil: 650W
  • Betriebssystem: Windows 10
  • GPU: RTX 2070 (funktionierte problemlos)

Problem:

Nachdem ich die RTX 5070 Ti OC eingebaut hatte, passierte gar nichts.

  • Kein Bild, kein Boot, kein Anzeichen von Funktion.
  • Die RTX 2070 funktionierte weiterhin einwandfrei.

Erste Lösungsversuche (erfolglos)

✅ BIOS-Update des B450 Mainboards durchgeführt → Keine Änderung
✅ Alle Kabel geprüft und neu gesteckt → Keine Änderung
✅ Treiber im abgesicherten Modus deinstalliert und neu installiert → Kein Erfolg

Fazit:

Es war klar, dass das alte Mainboard oder das Netzteil inkompatibel oder nicht ausreichend waren.

2. Umstieg auf ein neues Mainboard & Netzteil – MSI B550 Tomahawk + 1050W Netzteil

Da sich mit dem alten Mainboard nichts tat, entschied ich mich für einen Wechsel auf ein neueres Mainboard:

  • Neues Mainboard: MSI B550 Tomahawk
  • Neues Netzteil: 1050W

Freistehender Test vor dem Umbau

Bevor ich mein ganzes System umbaute, testete ich das neue Mainboard freistehend mit folgenden Komponenten:

  • CPU + CPU-Lüfter
  • Zwei RAM-Sticks
  • RTX 5070 Ti OC

Ergebnis:

✅ Mit dem 650W Netzteil tat sich wieder nichts.
✅ Mit dem 1050W Netzteil wurde die Grafikkarte erkannt und das System startete ins BIOS.
✅ RTX 2070 & RTX 5070 Ti wurden beide erfolgreich erkannt.

Fazit:

Das neue Mainboard und das leistungsstärkere Netzteil waren notwendig, um die RTX 5070 Ti OC überhaupt zum Laufen zu bekommen.

3. Der aufwendige Umbau & Windows-Neuinstallation

Nach dem erfolgreichen Test begann ich mit dem Umbau:

  1. Altes System ausgebaut, neues Mainboard ins Gehäuse eingebaut.
  2. Alte CPU auf das neue Mainboard gesetzt, Kühler & Lüfter montiert.
  3. Festplatten & SSDs korrekt angeschlossen.
  4. Alle Kabel sauber verlegt.
  5. Windows 11 anstelle von Windows 10 installiert.

Problem:

Obwohl das System nun lief, kam bei jeder Treiberinstallation für die RTX 5070 Ti OC ein schwarzer Bildschirm + Tastaturausfall.

4. Treiberprobleme & Abstürze nach der Installation

✅ Treiber mit DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) entfernt (im abgesicherten Modus mit Netzwerkzugriff).
✅ Neuesten Treiber 572.60 manuell von NVIDIA heruntergeladen und installiert.
🚨 Ergebnis: Wieder schwarzer Bildschirm + Tastatur ohne Strom.

5. Der entscheidende Fix – BIOS-Einstellungen anpassen

Nach zahlreichen Versuchen fand ich die entscheidende Lösung im BIOS.

1️⃣ BIOS updaten (über MSI Center) & Neustart durchführen.
2️⃣ Im BIOS folgende Einstellungen ändern:

  • PCI_E1 Gen Switch auf GEN 4 (statt Auto!)
  • 3️⃣ Änderungen speichern & Neustart.

✅ Ergebnis: Nach dieser Änderung lief das System stabil!
✅ RTX 5070 Ti OC wurde erkannt und lief einwandfrei.
✅ Keine Abstürze oder schwarze Bildschirme mehr.
✅ Spiele liefen problemlos, NVIDIA App installiert und funktionierte wieder.

6. Fazit – Wichtige Erkenntnisse für andere Nutzer

🔴 Falls du eine RTX 5070 Ti OC installierst und auf Probleme stößt:

  • Stelle sicher, dass dein Mainboard aktuell genug ist (B450 war nicht ausreichend).
  • Ein Netzteil mit mindestens 850W wird dringend empfohlen. (Ich nutze ein 1050W)
  • Falls nach der Treiberinstallation schwarze Bildschirme und Tastaturausfälle auftreten:
    • BIOS updaten.
    • PCIe-Gen auf GEN 4 umstellen (statt Auto).
    • Treiber mit DDU entfernen und sauber neu installieren.
  • Windows 11 lief in meinem Fall stabiler als Windows 10 mit der neuen Hardware.

🔥 Nach drei Tagen Troubleshooting läuft nun alles stabil – aber die RTX 5070 Ti ist nicht unbedingt eine Plug-and-Play-GPU, wenn das System nicht optimal vorbereitet ist!

Full Installation Experience – Problems, Solutions, and Fixes

Introduction

Upgrading a GPU isn’t always as simple as swapping out the old one for the new one—especially when dealing with a brand-new card like the RTX 5070 Ti OC. In my case, replacing my RTX 2070 with the 5070 Ti OC resulted in a long troubleshooting process involving BIOS updates, driver issues, a new motherboard, and even a new power supply. Here’s my full experience and the final solution that made my system stable.

1. Initial Attempts on My Old System (MSI B450 Gaming Plus + 650W PSU) – No Success

My original system specs:

  • Motherboard: MSI B450 Gaming Plus
  • Power Supply: 650W
  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • GPU: RTX 2070 (working fine)

Problem:

After installing the RTX 5070 Ti OC, absolutely nothing happened.

  • No display, no boot, no signs of life from the GPU.
  • RTX 2070 still worked perfectly.

First Troubleshooting Attempts (No Success)

✅ Updated the BIOS on the B450 motherboard → No change
✅ Checked and reseated all cables → No change

Conclusion:

Since nothing worked on my old setup, I decided to upgrade to:

  • New Power Supply: 1050W

Testing the New Hardware Before Full Installation

Before assembling everything, I did an open-air test with just:

  • CPU + Cooler
  • Two RAM sticks
  • RTX 5070 Ti OC

Results:

Problem:

5. The Crucial Fix – Changing BIOS Settings

After multiple failed attempts, the final fix was found in the BIOS.

2️⃣ Changed the following BIOS settings:

  • PCI_E1 Gen Switch → GEN 4 (instead of Auto).
  • 3️⃣ Saved changes and restarted the PC.

✅ Result: After these changes, the system finally became stable!
✅ The RTX 5070 Ti OC was recognized and worked flawlessly.
✅ No more crashes, no black screens.
✅ Games ran fine, and the NVIDIA app reinstalled worked normally.
